Two terminals, one airport
Nice Côte d’Azur handled 15,23 million commercial passengers in 2025, according to its operator. The airport has two terminals, T1 and T2, about a kilometre apart on the seafront, west of Nice.
How the airlines are split between the terminals can change from season to season. The only reliable information is on your boarding pass or in your airline’s app.
Getting from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2
Tram lines 2 and B link the two terminals free of charge in 3 minutes. A free electric shuttle also serves the remote car parks (P4, P6, P8, P9) every 15 minutes, from 4.30am until the last flight.
Getting into town from the terminals
| Mode | Where to catch it | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| Official taxi | T1 door A1, T2 door A3 (arrivals level) | 2026 flat fares: €32 Nice centre, €72 Antibes / Juan-les-Pins, €85 Cannes, €95 Monaco |
| Tram line 2 | Stops at both terminals | City centre (Jean-Médecin) and the port in under 30 min; “Aéro” return ticket €10 |
| Bus ZOU! 80, 81, 82 | Terminal 2, stands 1 to 3 | Monaco and Menton (80), Cannes (81), Antibes (82) |
| Train (TER) | Nice Saint-Augustin station, 7 min walk from T1 | Cannes – Nice – Monaco – Menton line: a train every 15 min on weekdays |
| Booked private chauffeur | Arrivals hall of your terminal | Fixed price, flight tracking, name sign, 60 min waiting included |
Finding your chauffeur
After baggage reclaim, go through the arrivals exit: your chauffeur is waiting in the hall, holding a sign with your name. His first name and number were sent to you before landing. Turn down approaches from anyone who comes up to you without a booking: the airport itself advises it.
For a departure
- Check your terminal the day before: it determines the pick-up time.
- Allow for arriving about 2 hours before a European flight and 3 hours before a long-haul flight.
- At peak times the Promenade des Anglais slows badly: leave yourself some margin.
