It all turns on a height barrier
A conference is prepared months in advance and lost in three minutes, at the entrance to a car park. Under the Palais des Festivals in Cannes you do not get through at 1,80 metres, under Antipolis not at 1,90 metres, at the Grimaldi Forum and the port of Nice not above 2,10 metres. No van enters any of those four car parks. We state it on every page, with the source.
The height, in figures
Taken from the car park’s own information, not from the event page. When it is not published, we write that too — rather than assume it.
The drop-off point, agreed in advance
Entrance, lane, direction of traffic: the meeting point is agreed before you arrive, not searched for by telephone in front of a security cordon.
One delegation, one invoice
Several vehicles, several flights, one contact and a single grouped invoice. Business account on request.
French Riviera and Monaco
Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes
Car park at 1,80 m. The most filmed building in France, and one of the hardest to approach by car on festival days. Its car park is beneath the Palais — and it stops at 1,80 metres.
from €81.02from Nice AirportGrimaldi Forum Monaco
Car park at 2,10 m. Forty-one thousand square metres on the Larvotto, extended for the building’s twenty-fifth anniversary. Its car park accepts 2,10 metres — and its avenue closes on race weekends.
from €94.10from Nice AirportOcéaNice — Nice Port Convention Centre
Car park at 2,10 m. Since 30 April 2025, this is where Nice hosts its conferences — on the port, in place of Acropolis. The district is largely pedestrian: the set-down address counts for more here than elsewhere.
from €48from Nice AirportAntipolis — Antibes Juan-les-Pins conference centre
Car park at 1,90 m. Four hundred and fifty metres from Juan-les-Pins station and twenty-five minutes from the airport. Its underground car park stops at 1,90 metres: the van stays at surface level.
from €69.37from Nice AirportPalais Nikaïa
Set-down at surface level. The large concert hall of Nice, six minutes from the airport by car. Its car parks open two and a half hours before curtain-up — and fill in the reverse order of the exit.
from €48from Nice AirportAllianz Riviera
Set-down at surface level. Thirty-six thousand seats, twelve thousand parking spaces — and car parks served by shuttle, ten or fifteen minutes from the ground. The geography of a match night is like no other.
from €48from Nice AirportVar and Provence
Marseille Chanot — Convention and Exhibition Centre
Height not published. Fifty thousand square metres under cover and seven halls at the rond-point du Prado. It is the great exhibition park of the South — and the only venue on this page that is quicker to reach from Marseille-Provence than from Nice.
from €440from Nice AirportPalais des Congrès Neptune
Height not published. The conference centre in central Toulon, ten minutes’ walk from the TGV station. One car park opens directly onto place Besagne by lift — that is the one access detail that really counts.
from €376.68from Nice AirportPalais des Congrès de Saint-Raphaël
Height not published. Beside the port Santa Lucia, at the foot of the Estérel, with six hundred and fifty parking spaces around the building. Sixty kilometres from Nice Airport — and a TGV station a kilometre away.
from €142.90from Nice AirportThe events that change every route
Some events close whole avenues, and sometimes an airport access road. Here is what the cities and the organisers publish officially — with the 2027 dates where they exist. Where they are not published, we say so rather than invent them.
Carnaval de Nice 2027
9 to 28 February 2027. Tram line 1 is split into two shuttles and the Masséna, Opéra and Cathédrale stops close for the whole event. The Parcazur park-and-ride sites are recommended; motorway access is by exit 50 “Promenade des Anglais” or exit 54 “Nice Nord”.
Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Tourist Office — Nice Carnival 2027
IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship, Nice
2026 edition, 7 to 14 September. Both carriageways of the Promenade des Anglais close completely from 20 h on 11 September to 2 h on 14 September. Above all: both airport accesses from the northern carriageway are closed on Saturday and Sunday from 5 h to 16 h. It is the textbook example of an event that has nothing to do with your journey and shifts it all the same.
Monaco Grand Prix and Historic Grand Prix
Formula 1 2027: 3 to 6 June; E-Prix 2027: 15 and 16 May. The quai des États-Unis, boulevard Albert Ier, place du Casino, boulevard Louis II, avenue J.-F. Kennedy and four tunnels close. During the Historic Grand Prix, avenue Princesse Grace closes as well — that is, road access to the Grimaldi Forum and the Sporting.
Prince’s Government of Monaco — Grand Prix road arrangements
Festival de Cannes, MIPIM, Cannes Lions
Festival 2027: 11 to 22 May; MIPIM 2027: 16 to 19 March; Cannes Lions 2027: 21 to 25 June. The City of Cannes puts a modified traffic plan in place whose details change with every edition and are published only as the event approaches. We do not copy out a plan that is out of date: the set-down point is decided on the plan in force on the day.
A conference transfer in practice
The help centre answers the rest.
How much does a transfer to a conference or trade fair cost?
From Nice Airport, from €48 including VAT for the whole vehicle: OcéaNice from €48, Palais Nikaïa from €48, Allianz Riviera from €48, Antipolis from €69.37, Palais des Festivals from €81.02. The price is fixed, with waiting time and tolls included, and it is shown before payment.
Why do you state car park heights?
Because it decides whether your vehicle goes down or not, and nobody publishes it on an event’s “getting here” page. The car park under the Palais des Festivals in Cannes stops at 1,80 metres, the Antipolis one at 1,90 metres, those of the Grimaldi Forum and the port of Nice at 2,10 metres: a van gets into none of them. Knowing it beforehand means a prepared set-down at surface level; discovering it on site means a queue and suitcases to carry.
Can you handle a delegation needing several vehicles?
Yes. Several vehicles can meet the same flight or several flights, with grouped invoicing and a single contact. It is the most common case at a conference: tell us the number of people and the flight times, and we set the pick-ups.
And during a major event, when the streets are closed?
That is exactly where a chauffeur is worth more than an app. Cities publish their traffic plans as the event approaches, and they change from one edition to the next: we do not copy an out-of-date plan onto a web page, we work from the one in force that day. Give us your hotel and your accreditation, and the set-down point is chosen accordingly.
Can I book a chauffeur for the whole day?
Yes: a chauffeur and a vehicle for as long as you choose, with the journeys you want. It is often the right arrangement at a trade fair, between the centre, the hotel, a dinner and an airport. The “hourly chauffeur hire” page sets out the durations and the prices.
Do you charge for waiting time?
No, free waiting time is included in the price shown, and that price does not move after confirmation. A plenary that overruns does not turn into a surcharge.
