Car park height
A van does not fit under 1,80 m
The venue’s car park stops below two metres: no van, no minibus, no raised people carrier gets in. Drop-off is at street level and the vehicle parks elsewhere — plan for it, or discover it at the barrier.
This is the most useful piece of information on this page, and also the hardest to find: it lives on the car park’s price list, not on the event’s “getting here” page. Our two van ranges — the First Class Van and the Standard Van — are raised passenger vehicles. State the number of passengers when you book: the range follows from that, and so does the drop-off point.
Where your chauffeur drops you
The Palais is at 1 boulevard de la Croisette, facing the Vieux-Port. Its car park, the P1 “Parking Palais”, is run by the municipal authority and sits directly beneath the building: 924 spaces over three levels, fifteen bays reserved for people with reduced mobility, forty-nine charging points, open twenty-four hours a day.
The figure that decides everything, and the one the “getting to the Palais” page does not give: the height limit at the P1 is 1,80 metre. No van, no minibus, no raised people carrier gets in. If you are travelling as five, six or eight, drop-off is at street level and the vehicle parks elsewhere. That is not a problem when it is planned; it is a problem when you find out at the barrier, suitcase in hand.
Cannes station is a six-minute walk from the Palais, and Nice Airport is less than thirty kilometres away. The city publishes an official flat taxi fare of €88 for one to four people between Nice Airport and Cannes: our price is for the whole vehicle, known before payment, whatever the number of passengers the range allows.
During the film festival, MIPIM or Cannes Lions, the city puts a temporary traffic plan in place. Its content changes with every edition and is only published as the event approaches, so we do not copy it here. Give us your hotel and your accreditation when you book, and the drop-off point is chosen on the traffic plan in force that week.

Can a van park at the Palais des Festivals?
No. The P1 “Parking Palais”, directly beneath the Palais, takes vehicles up to 1,80 m: neither the First Class Van nor the Standard Van goes down there. Groups are set down at street level, as close as possible to a usable entrance, and the vehicle parks elsewhere.
How much does a transfer to the Palais des Festivals cost?
From €81.02 including VAT for the whole vehicle — not per passenger — from Nice Côte d’Azur Airport. Each range has its own price, shown before payment. VAT, tolls, luggage and free waiting time are included; the amount does not move once confirmed.
