Data collected

  • Booking: name, telephone, email, pick-up and destination addresses, date and time, number of passengers and items of luggage, flight or train number, comments, the name shown on the name board.
  • Payment: handled directly by Stripe; Novalia receives only the status of the payment, never the card details.
  • Browsing: the technical data the site needs to work and, with your consent, analytics and advertising measurement.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Arranging and carrying out your journey, contacting you about it, sending you the tracking link: performance of the contract.
  • Invoicing and accounting obligations: legal obligation.
  • Site security, prevention of abuse and fraud, improvement of the service: legitimate interest.
  • Analytics and advertising: consent, which you can withdraw at any time through “Manage cookies”.

Recipients

Your data is available only to the people who need it: the Novalia team, the chauffeur or partner fleet handling your journey (limited to what the pick-up requires), and our technical processors: hosting, payment (Stripe), booking and dispatch tools, message sending (email, SMS, WhatsApp) and, where the service is enabled, mapping (Google Maps). Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, under appropriate safeguards (an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).

Retention periods

  • Booking data: for the length of the commercial relationship, then 3 years from the last contact.
  • Accounting records: 10 years.
  • Analytics cookies: 13 months at most; your consent choice is kept for 6 months.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to give directions on what happens to your data after your death. Write to us at contact@novaliafleet.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).

Security

Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Prices and tracking links are cryptographically signed; a tracking link gives access only to the information relevant to your journey.
