What we will not assume on your behalf
No official source publishes the car park height limit. We do not assume it: your chauffeur checks with the operator, or sets you down at street level.
This is the most useful piece of information on this page, and also the hardest to find: it lives on the car park’s price list, not on the event’s “getting here” page. Our two van ranges — the First Class Van and the Standard Van — are raised passenger vehicles. State the number of passengers when you book: the range follows from that, and so does the drop-off point.
Where your chauffeur drops you
The Palais Neptune is on place de Besagne, in the middle of Toulon. Four car parks totalling about 3,200 spaces surround it, and one of them makes all the difference: the Lafayette, rue Dutasta, about 410 spaces, whose lift comes out straight onto place Besagne and therefore onto the centre. The other three are Mayol Centre under the stadium stands (1,281 spaces), Facultés (939 spaces, four minutes on foot) and Porte d’Italie (583 spaces, four minutes on foot).
No height limit is published for these four car parks. In a van, drop-off is at street level, on place de Besagne or immediately nearby.
The official distances from the airports: Toulon-Hyères 18 km, Marseille-Provence 85 km, Nice Côte d’Azur 154 km. The centre’s own site also says “thirty minutes from the airport” without saying which one — we do not repeat that figure, it is attached to nothing.
The TGV station is a ten-minute walk from the centre, and Paris four hours away. From Nice it is a hundred and fifty kilometres of A57 and A8: a long journey, where a fixed price known in advance changes the nature of the spend.
