Where your chauffeur waits for you
The geometry of this station comes down to one sentence: cars to the south, buses to the north. The drop-off zone is on the south side, reachable from every station entrance; the bus station is at the north exit. Get the side wrong and you cross the whole station with your suitcases.
The drop-off zone closes at night, from 23 h 45. For a late TGV, your chauffeur waits on the public road rather than in the zone, and tells you exactly where before you arrive.
The centre of Avignon is six kilometres away. The rail shuttle known as “la Virgule”, opened at the end of 2013, links the TGV station to Avignon-Centre; with luggage, a child or a tight schedule, the car is still simpler — and the price is known beforehand.

Another question? The help centre answers the most common ones.
Where exactly does the chauffeur meet me at Avignon TGV station?
The geometry of this station comes down to one sentence: cars to the south, buses to the north. The drop-off zone is on the south side, reachable from every station entrance; the bus station is at the north exit. Get the side wrong and you cross the whole station with your suitcases. Your meeting point is confirmed to you before you arrive.
How much does a transfer from Avignon TGV station cost?
From €500 including VAT for the whole vehicle — not per passenger — to Nice Côte d’Azur Airport. The Sedan, the First Class Van and the Standard Van each have their own price, shown before payment. VAT, tolls, luggage and complimentary waiting time are included; the amount does not move once confirmed.
What if my train is late?
Give us the train number when you book: we follow its real running time and the pick-up time follows with it, at no extra charge. A station is no place to sit waiting in a car — which is why the chauffeur moves into position at the right moment.
Which trains stop at Avignon TGV station?
TGV inOui, Ouigo, and the TER shuttle to Avignon-Centre. This list follows what the official SNCF pages show; services change from one annual timetable to the next, so check your own journey with the operator.
Can I book the other way round, to the station?
Yes. A transfer to Avignon TGV station books in exactly the same way, nights and weekends included, with no time-of-day surcharge. Allow yourself a margin on the pick-up time: the price does not change, the road does.
