Your disembarkation, and where we meet you

Cannes is an anchorage: large ships stop out in the bay, beyond the 300 metres under the mayor’s authority, and tenders land passengers at quai Laubeuf. As at Villefranche, the time that counts is your tender’s, not the ship’s arrival.

Worth knowing in 2026: the Laubeuf car park, which served as the set-down and pick-up area on the quay, is closed for works and the city has published no reopening date. The Vieux-Port is being redeveloped, with delivery announced for early 2027, including a future cruise terminal and coach bays on quai Laubeuf.

So we will not promise you a spot that no longer exists. The pick-up point is confirmed the day before the call, and your chauffeur sends you his exact position — that is more honest than an address printed on a web page and wrong on the day.

Since 2026 the city has limited the activity: at most one large ship a day in the bay, 34 calls over the year for ships carrying more than 3,000 passengers, and a ceiling of 6,000 cruise passengers a day. In practice, that means less congestion on disembarkation than before.
