Port Hercule — Monaco transfers

Monaco is the only port on the Riviera with two arrangements: your call is either “digue” — alongside the Rainier III breakwater — or “rade”, at anchor. It changes the time you are ashore.

Your disembarkation, and where we meet you

The official call schedule published by the Société d’Exploitation des Ports de Monaco codes every call “DIGUE” or “RADE”. At the breakwater, you walk down the gangway at the scheduled time. Out in the bay, you come ashore by tender, with the usual gap. Two calls by the same ship can fall under different arrangements: the schedule decides, not habit.

Give us the name of your ship and the date. We check the arrangement for that call before setting the pick-up time, rather than leaving you waiting an hour on quai Antoine-Iᵉʳ.

From the landing stage, the two officially designated shore points are quai Antoine-Iᵉʳ and quai des États-Unis, linked by the bateau-bus. Your chauffeur waits at the one matching your call, and vehicle access onto the breakwater itself is not guaranteed: it is a controlled port zone.

The Rainier III breakwater is 352 metres long and can technically take ships of 300 metres, but since calls resumed the Prince’s Government accepts only ships of up to 250 metres and 1,250 passengers. Disembarkations are therefore small and quick.
