Your disembarkation, and where we meet you

The port is explicit, and this is the most useful rule on this page: “cruise ship passengers embark and disembark exclusively at l’Estacade in the new harbour”. Not at the Vieux-Port, and not at quai Jean-Jaurès. If you are given another point, it is a mistake.

A second official rule, and one we keep to: chauffeur-driven cars, taxis and shuttles may only set down and pick up passengers, then must leave the area immediately. So your chauffeur will not wait an hour on the quay: he takes position once you are ashore and ready. Hence the importance of telling us when you board the tender.

Road access to the môle Jean-Réveille and the môle Estienne-d’Orves is restricted in season to owners of moored boats, to residents and to morning deliveries. The harbour office esplanade is reserved. So the meeting point is agreed in advance, and it takes account of the traffic plan in force that day.

Saint-Tropez in summer is a peninsula with a single road. For a flight out of Nice or Toulon-Hyères, allow plenty of time: the fixed price does not move, but the road is not negotiable.
